End-of-arm tooling (EOAT), sometimes referred to as end effectors, are devices that can be installed on a robotic arm or wrist. They are typically designed and machined out a variety of materials. However, 3D printing adds a new layer of flexibility that enables engineers to customize end effectors for special projects, improve performance through design, and lightweighting to prolong the intended use of the robotic arm. This part is 3D printed in Nylon PA 12 then dyed in DM red to represent 3D parts on the factory floor.
